In this professional level intermediate design class we'll begin working in larger forms and discuss the materials that support more grandiose floral displays. We'll graduate from the hand-tied bouquets and small centerpieces in the beginning class, to creating long & low arrangements and working in oasis in various forms. We'll also create medium size arrangements in maches (a type of container designed specifically for floral professionals). In this class you will learn about height, structure, complimentary colors, balance and fullness in your designs.
This class will include discussion, demonstration and hands-on design. A precursor (although not prerequisite depending on your level of experience) to this class is Beginning Floral Design on June 28th. The follow-up to this class is Advanced Floral Design on Saturday, October 11th.
