Every week at Dragonfly Floral we get excited about a different plant material. This week we've been especially fond of the budding mulberry. It is structurally interesting and it has those fun green buds. Give us a call 707.433.3739 or email us if you'd like us to pick some for you. If you look closely you'll notice the mulberry used in some of these delivery arrangements. Try our new online order form It is winter here at Dragonfly Floral. Although we don't have roses and dahlias in the garden at this time of year, we do have plenty of other fun options. The cardoons make a dramatic and long lasting display. Many of our fruit trees are in bloom. Some of the plums offer white blooms while others are pink. The apple has exquisite pale pink blossoms and a hint of green where their leaves are peeking out. Now is an ideal time for golden and curly willow. You can enjoy it as an arrangement while watching it root and eventually, leaf out. It makes a neat living arrangement or you can plant it. Purple mustard also makes for a unique and edible bouquet.
We do not keep regular hours in the winter. Call the farm if you would like us to pick something for you. We can also order any flowers you would like 707.433.3739 or email Bonnie Here are a few of the delivery arrangements that we did this week. Call the farm to place your order, or try our new online order form After a busy Valentine's weekend and deliveries predominantly to women, It has been fun to get a number of orders for men this week. Here is an arrangement we delivered today. You'll notice the use of pussy willow, flax, apple blossoms, ranunculus, forsythia and horse tail grass, all in a recycled rubber container.
We have wrapped up a booming wedding season. Having had a much busier fall than we expected.
Wedding and garden planning is in full swing. Bonnie is busy with meetings planning weddings for this winter and next season. As you can tell we are working on our website. We welcome any feedback. |
