Designing from the seasonal garden

We will be exploring what is available at this time of year. Designing for impact without a lot of flowers. And how to create a long lasting arrangement that can change with your occasions.

This is a great class for people that want to spruce up their homes and businesses over the darker months, without the expense of fresh flowers every week.

We will go for a walk out in the garden, please wear sturdy shoes you can get dirty and dress for the weather

Thanksgiving Centerpiece Workshop

There are so many beautiful colors and textures at this time of year in your own backyard as well as ours. Come learn how to use what is in the fall garden to create your own Thanksgiving centerpiece.

Wreath Open House

For those of you who have taken the Wreath Class in the past, we invite you to come and make wreaths. We will have materials available for you to make your own wreaths.

There will be no instruction.

Please come rain or shine but be prepared to work outside in any weather.

Please sign-up so we know how much material to pick.

Living Willow Design Class

We were introduced to willow 20 years ago by our Italian neighbors who used the supple golden winter twigs for tying up their grapevines. We asked for some of their prunings when they pollarded their trees in the winter and planted the bare prunings directly into the wet ground to form a circle. Every willow twig rooted and grew into what is now the Willow Circle. It has seen many celebrations including weddings and joyous little kids, who have deemed it the magic circle. We have created amazing giant baskets, wedding arches, whimsical sculptures, garden trellises and fences form the willow.

We invite you to come and learn about willow and find what a wonderful and versatile material it is. We will explore how you can use it to bring your own ideas to life.

If you Google "Living Willow" you will find hundreds of ideas for projects if you don't already have something in mind.

When you sign-up for the class let us know what your interests are - whether small garden trellises, large structures, fences, sculpture, or something else - so that we can be prepared for your project.

Remember to dress appropriately, we will be working outside.
